Soul Revitalisation Project Day 4

September 23, 2014

It was the last day of the beautiful heart and soul connected gathering today.

We had a wonderful opportunity to honour the masculine and feminine in each other. To a wonderful heart beat on the drums and strong grounded elders holding space for the rest of us we were able to individually connect with each other spend a moment finding that space inside the other person that holds the divine essence of the God and Goddess and offer ourselves in honouring that essence. It was a beautiful heartfelt ceremony that truly connected each of us.

I have done this kind of ceremony before many times  I was fairly comfortable with the process and the experience. However for some of the beautiful women who had never felt the joy of being honoured for her divine feminine essence it was a difficult experience. It can bring up all sorts of stuff about our sense of self, whether we feel worthy to accept such an honouring and also whether we fee l that we can truly and safely honour the masculine in our counterparts.

Later in the day there was a large closing ceremony in which we were able to let go of the energy of the weekend. Those that had been holding the space were released and we were able to begin our reintegrating back into the world outside.

It was late when I got home and I noticed that I was quite sensitive to the world around me, loud noises were difficult certain tastes had changed and bright lights were difficult to manage as the night went on.

What a wonderful way to experience the very beginning of my Soul Revitalization process. I feel like through these days and with these wonderful people, I have found the first step in my healing process. I have reconnected my heart to my body, and I have begun to open my heart again and let other people in. It may be a long road back to open-heartedness, but I have taken the first step and feel the joy of life creeping back in.

Blessings to you all xox

“We all begin the process before we are ready, before we are strong enough, before we know enough; we begin a dialogue with thoughts and feelings that both tickle and thunder within us. We respond before we know how to speak the language, before we know all the answers, and before we know exactly to whom we are speaking.”
